Site editor, Author Andy K Hughes, is a graduate of the University of Reading, currently studying for a doctorate at Bangor University. He is the author of several books, including The Pocket Guide to the British Aristocracy and the Pocket Guide to Political Scandals. Neither of these books are academic works claims Andy because of the direction of the publishers. They were written as popular historical culture, in other words 'History for everyone, fun, simple and charming.' Andy [also writes as Andrew], did offer an interesting insight, albeit indirectly, into his political leanings in the introduction of The Pocket Guide to the British Aristocracy.

A moving piece of writing. Clearly the authors are unlikely to forget - for good reasons
